This shale gas producer is a leading independent natural gas producer with an evolutionary focus on our future. They have operations in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio and is dedicated to responsibly developing our world-class asset base in the core of the Appalachian Basin. The producer sought an efficient solution to generate power at a remote compressor site. They turned to E-Finity Distributed Generation to build a six-turbine skid which minimized installation costs. Six C65 ICHP Dual Mode Microturbines were installed with a PLC Control system for monitoring. The heat generated by the integrated heat recovery modules generates hot water to heat fuel gas. The skid mounted benefits and single fuel gas connection and electrical terminations expedited the installation process into a single day. The site can produce electrical power safely, quietly, and efficiently with minimal maintenance required.
