The Hudson County Schools of Technology is a visionary community that inspires creative independent thinking through diverse learning opportunities. The school installed a C65 ICHP turbine at their Secaucus, NJ location in 2018 which provides hot water for building heating and domestic hot water. During the summer months the hot water is used in a hot water driven chiller to provide 25 tons of cooling to the building. The CHP system runs in parallel with the school’s solar PV making the school cutting edge in energy efficiency. Along with providing the microturbine E-Finity’s Microgrid Controller controls the turbine and solar.
